Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is an innovative father/father figure involvement, educational initiative of the National Center for Fathering.

Goals of the program

·To provide positive male role models for the students,

demonstrating by their presence that education is important.

·To provide an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.

Who are Watch D.O.G.S. and how does Watch D.O.G.S. work?
Any fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year. During the day you will help out with drop off duties in the morning, be on the morning announcements with your student(s), help out in various classrooms including your student(s), eat lunch with students, and help out in activities where you are actively engaging with not only your own student but other students as well.

How to Join Watch D.O.G.S. for 2023-2024

**We are forgoing Watch D.O.G.S. membership dues for the 2023-2024 school year. However, you must be an active PTA member.**
New Watch D.O.G.S - 

Step 1: Purchase a Watch D.O.G.S. shirt here (with tax total is $17; a convenience fee applies).

Step 2: Complete this google form.

Step 3: Complete the Hays VIPs annual background check here. If completed last year, just verify the information and click Save (This must be completed annually.)

Step 4: When the background check is complete, you will receive an email directing you to a sign-up page to pick your date(s) to volunteer at the school!

If you already have a shirt -
